Sometimes Google brings up too many pages using big adult words. Here’s some web search engines just for kids:
http://www.askkids.com/
http://www.kidsclick.org/
http://www.factmonster.com/
http://kids.yahoo.com/
http://www.yahooligans.com/
And this on lists many search engines all on one page:

I’ve created this web page blog to share some of the things students are learning in Computer class at Pope John Paul II School. Students in grades K through 5 meet once a week for computer class. I have created different pages for each grade. This is a work in progress, as I continue to update the grade links and other sections with information.
Feel free to contact me with any questions at kwalsh@popejohnpauliischool.org.
